This policy explains how Nata Beauty (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal information when you book an appointment, contact the studio or use this website. We are the data controller for the information described below and we handle it in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Information we collect

  • Booking and contact details: your name, email address, phone number and the appointment or service you are interested in, provided through the booking page, by phone, by WhatsApp or by email.
  • Consultation and health information: for permanent makeup treatments we record relevant health and suitability information (for example skin condition, allergies, medication and patch-test results) and treatment notes. This is special category data and is used only to carry out your treatment safely.
  • Treatment photographs: before-and-after photographs of the treated area, taken with your consent for your client record.
  • Messages: the content of enquiries you send us.

Payments are taken in person at the studio. We do not store card or bank details on this website.

How and why we use your information

  • To manage your booking and carry out your treatment. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
  • To send appointment confirmations, reminders and follow-ups by SMS, WhatsApp or email. Lawful basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in running the studio.
  • To assess your suitability for permanent makeup and treat you safely. Lawful basis for health information: your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To respond to your enquiries. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.
  • To keep the records we are required to hold for insurance and local-authority licensing. Lawful basis: compliance with a legal obligation and our legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary with trusted service providers who help us run the studio, such as our booking and messaging systems and our email provider, and with our insurer or the local authority where we are legally required to do so. Any provider acting on our behalf may only use your information on our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep consultation and treatment records for as long as we are required to for insurance and licensing purposes, and then delete them securely. Enquiry and booking details are kept only for as long as we need them, after which they are removed.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Security

We take appropriate measures to keep your information safe and to prevent unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Access to client records is limited to the studio.

Children

Permanent makeup treatments are only carried out on adults aged 18 or over, and this website is not directed at children.
