Powder brows in Bristol: machine-shaded definition
From £330 · approx.

Powder brows in Bristol are a semi-permanent, machine-shaded brow service for an even, makeup-look finish. The first-time price is £330, including mapping, pigment application, aftercare and the perfecting session at 6 to 8 weeks.
The result is intended to look like softly applied brow makeup rather than individual hair strokes. Powder brows may suit combination-to-oily skin, visible pores and clients whose previous microblading did not last, subject to consultation.
Powder brows in Bristol: price and finish
Powder brows use a digital machine to place approved pigment as a soft, even shade through the brow. The healed finish is more defined than a bare brow and can resemble brow powder.
The £330 first-time price includes the initial appointment and the perfecting session at 6 to 8 weeks. A colour boost for existing Nata Beauty powder or ombre brow clients is £150. Powder brows are semi-permanent, so the colour fades over time rather than lasting permanently. Prices and details checked on 6 September 2026.
Who powder brows suit
Powder brows may suit clients who prefer a defined, makeup-look brow and want machine shading rather than blade work. The consultation is the right time to discuss existing pigment and whether the service suits you.
- Combination-to-oily skin or visible pores through the brow area
- A preference for an even, defined brow shape
- Previous microblading that did not last as expected
- A wish for semi-permanent brow makeup
Nata does not offer microblading or blade hair strokes. Nano brows are comparison language here too: Nata offers machine-shaded powder or ombre work, not hair-stroke services. Read the powder brows and microblading comparison before booking.
How the machine-shaded appointment works
Nata maps the brows in washable pencil, shows you the shape and waits for your sign-off before pigment is applied.
- Consultation and suitability discussion.
- Washable-pencil mapping and client sign-off.
- Patch test before the PMU treatment.
- Numbing and machine-shaded pigment application.
- Aftercare guidance and a review plan for the included perfecting session.
Nata uses a fresh sterile needle and single-use disposable cartridge for every client, approved pigments and a fresh station. She holds Bristol City Council Skin-Piercing and PMU Licence GSA/105599.
Healing and the perfecting session
Initial PMU healing runs through roughly 7 to 28 days. Pigment is commonly darker immediately after treatment, then may look faint or patchy during a normal ghosting phase before settling.
| Stage | What may happen |
|---|---|
| Immediately after treatment | Pigment is commonly darker than the settled result. |
| During days 7 to 28 | Colour may look faint or patchy during ghosting before settling. |
| Weeks 6 to 8 | The included perfecting session takes place after healing can be assessed. |
The second visit is part of the initial service. It is not the same as the later £150 colour boost.
Powder, ombre and combo brows
Powder brows are built as an even machine-shaded finish. Ombre wording usually points to a softer graded front with more definition through the body and tail. The supplied catalogue and source copy overlap the names combo and ombre, so Nata does not present them as definitively separate treatments.
Read the ombre brows Bristol service if you want to compare a softer front. If you want an even makeup-look brow, powder brows are the clearer description. A consultation can confirm the suitable finish before booking.
Longevity, colour boost and booking
Powder brows typically last 18 to 24 months before a refresh is considered, although results vary. Existing Nata Beauty clients can book a £150 colour boost.
Standard PMU exclusions include pregnancy or breastfeeding, Roaccutane within 12 months, an active skin condition in the treatment area, blood thinners without GP clearance, a keloid history or being under 18. Old saturated PMU may need a fade session first, so send details during the consultation.
Nata completed a 160-hour Permanent Master course in permanent makeup and aesthetic dermopigmentation in Riga in 2017, followed by brow and eyelid pigmentation certification in 2020. The studio is at 10 Chandos Road, Redland, Bristol BS6 6PE. Read about permanent makeup in Bristol and PMU aftercare, then book a consultation.
