The tint is custom-mixed at the appointment. The first tint booking also needs a patch test 48 hours beforehand.
What lamination changes, and what it cannot
Brow lamination softens existing brow hair, then sets it in a lifted or brushed-up direction. It can make the brows look more organised and fuller in shape, but it cannot create hair where a bare patch has no growth. It is not permanent makeup. Brow lamination Bristol: how the appointment works
The appointment takes about 35 minutes without tint and 45 minutes with tint. For brow lamination Bristol bookings, the patch-test timing is confirmed before the tint variant:
- Consultation: Nata checks the brow hair and agrees the finished direction.
- Cleanse: Makeup, oil and skincare residue are removed.
- Lift: Lifting lotion softens the hair so it can be combed into position.
- Set: Setting lotion fixes the new direction.
- Condition: Conditioning serum is applied after processing.
- Shape: Nata tweezes or trims stray and long hairs, then checks the finish.
For the tint variant, the patch-test status is checked first. A custom-mixed tint is then applied before the final shape check.
Aftercare and how long it lasts
Protect the brow area while the treatment settles:
- Keep brows dry for 24 hours: Avoid direct water on the brow line.
- Avoid oil, cleanser and active skincare for 48 hours: Keep them away from the area.
- Skip swimming and steam for 48 hours: Avoid these for the full 48 hours.
Brow lamination typically lasts 4-8 weeks. Brow tint commonly lasts 4-6 weeks, so colour may fade before the lifted direction has fully relaxed.
Suitability and booking in Redland
Do not book brow lamination with active eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis in the brow area, a known lamination-chemistry allergy, very damaged or dry brow hair, or a chemical brow treatment within the previous 4 weeks.
