Brow Lamination + Tint in Bristol

From £65 · approx. 1 hr

Brow lamination + tint is what most clients mean when they search brow lamination Bristol. It combines two treatments into one 45–60 minute session: the chemical lift that sets hairs in a brushed-up shape, plus a custom-mixed semi-permanent tint for fuller colour for the next 4–6 weeks.

It is one of the most-booked brow treatments at the studio and the right starting point if you want fuller, groomed brows without permanent makeup. The sections below cover who it suits, how it heals and how to book brow lamination in Bristol at the Redland (BS6) studio.

Lift + colour

The lift changes brow shape, not colour. Most clients need both to see real transformation. Lifted pale or sparse hairs look fuller in shape but don't stand out in photos or cool indoor light. Add a custom-mixed tint 1–2 tones deeper, and the lifted brow suddenly reads as dense and well-defined.

That's why £65 for the bundle outsells £55 for lift alone — the extra £10 buys most of the visual impact.

A small group benefits from lamination-only: clients who tint at home, and clients with naturally dark hair where added tint barely changes anything. For everyone else, lamination + tint is better value. The lamination-only page covers those cases.

Custom-mixed tint

The main difference between a high-street brow bar and studio tint is the mixing step.

At the start, Nata mixes the shade against:

  • Your natural brow hair (starting point)
  • Your hair colour (so brows match your head)
  • Your skin undertone (cool / warm / neutral)
  • Your preference (one tone deeper vs two)

Pale-blonde usually gets warm-blonde or taupe. Mid-brown gets warm or cool browns. Dark-haired gets dark brown or black depending on undertone. The mixed shade is shown before application; if you don't like it, it's re-mixed.

High-street tints use one of three pre-blended shades without skin-undertone consideration. The healed result is fine — but fine, not well-matched.

The appointment

Consultation and patch test check (5 min). Patch test status confirmed. If new, it happened 48 hours ago — see your booking email. Shade preference discussed.

Shape map (5 min). Brows assessed, lifted direction agreed — uniform brushed-up or natural brushed-through.

Cleanse (3 min). Makeup, oil, residue removed.

Lifting lotion (8–12 min). Applied under cling film, processed, combed into new direction.

Setting lotion (8–10 min). Re-locks the new direction.

Tint mixing and application (5–8 min). Custom shade mixed and applied. Processing time depends on starting colour: pale blondes longer than darker bases.

Conditioning serum (3 min). Applied to brows and surrounding skin.

Shape, tweeze, trim (5–10 min). Stray hairs tweezed, long hairs trimmed, final check.

Total: 45–60 minutes. About 15–20 minutes longer than lamination-only because of tint mixing, application, and processing.

Aftercare

The same as lamination-only with one addition for the tint:

  • No water on brows for 24 hours.
  • No oil, cleanser, retinol or active skincare through the brow area for 48 hours.
  • No swimming, sauna or steam for 48 hours.
  • The tint will look slightly darker on day 1 than at week 1 — the colour settles down by 20–30% as the keratin around the hair shaft normalises.
  • From day 3, normal routine resumes.
  • Apply brow conditioning serum 2–3 times a week to extend both lift and tint.

Repeat bookings

Typical schedule:

  • Week 5–6: colour faded, lift starting to relax. Book next lamination + tint at £65.
  • Or week 3–4: tint-only top-up at £15 if lift is holding well — quick 20-minute refresh.

Most clients land on a 5–6 week cadence for the full service, with one tint top-up between if they want consistent colour through the cycle.

Lamination + tint as a trial for PMU

Many clients book this to see what fuller, defined brows look like before committing to PMU. The logic is sound:

  • Non-permanent — it grows out in 4–8 weeks if the look isn't for you.
  • £65 vs £330 for PMU — much lower financial risk.
  • Works on existing hair only — shows what your current hair looks like at its best, useful before deciding if you also need pigment.

Clients who love the result and want it to last 12–24 months instead of 4–8 weeks typically book powder brows, ombre brows, or combo brows next. Those who love it and just want to repeat it every 5–6 weeks stay on lamination + tint.

Frequently asked

Lamination + tint adds a custom-mixed semi-permanent tint to the brow at the same appointment as the lift. The lift gives you the shape; the tint gives you fuller-looking colour for 4–6 weeks. Lamination + tint at £65 is the more popular booking. Lamination only at £55 is for clients who already tint their brows at home or whose natural brow colour is already dark enough.
