Lash Lift + Tint in Bristol — Curl and Colour in 60 Minutes

Pale lashes (blonde, light brown, ginger, grey) lift fine, but the curl can still look subtle because the lashes blend into the lid. Add tint two shades deeper than your natural lash colour and the lift suddenly has weight. The eye reads fuller, more defined, more made-up — without makeup.

About 80% of bookings here are lift + tint. The other 20% are lift-only, mostly people with very dark lashes already.

Tint gets mixed at the appointment, not pre-set. The shade depends on:

• Your natural lash colour
• Your hair colour
• Your skin tone
• How dark you want it ("subtle mascara" or "noticeably darker")

Common shades:

• Black — dark brunette to black hair; full mascara intensity
• Dark brown — mid-brown hair; softer mascara look
• Warm brown — warm-toned mid-brown to light-brown hair
• Grey-brown — softer effect, or you have grey/silver hair; looks like defined-but-not-black mascara
• Custom mix — red or strawberry blonde hair often gets warm chocolate or auburn-brown

• Consultation and shield size (5 min). Measure lash length, assess eye shape, pick shield size (S, M, or L), discuss tint shade.
• Cleansing (5 min). Clean lashes of mascara, eyeshadow, oil, skincare. Shield adhesion needs a clean base.
• Shield placement (8 min). Soft silicone shield at the lash root on each eye. Comb each lash onto the shield's curve.
• Lifting lotion (10–12 min). Applied and processed. Fine lashes process in 10; coarser lashes in 12.
• Setting lotion (8 min). Re-lock the bonds in the lifted direction.
• Tint application (5 min). Custom shade applied. Processed under timer.
• Tint removal and serum (5–8 min). Remove tint, apply conditioning serum.
• Final check (5 min). Remove shield, brush lashes, check result in mirror.

Total: 60 minutes.

• No water on lashes for 24 hours. Showers are OK; keep the eye area dry. No swimming, steam, or splashing water at the lash line.
• No mascara for 24 hours. Fine from day 2.
• Water-based or micellar cleanser only. Oil-based remover breaks down the set.
• No retinol or active products on the lash line for 48 hours.
• Expect the tint to look 20% darker on day 1. It normalizes as the keratin settles around the lash.

Full refill is typically 5–6 weeks. The lift lasts longer than the tint, so a £12 tint-only top-up between full lifts is the most common refresh — 15 minutes, keeps colour consistent, no re-lifting needed.

Some clients do back-to-back full sessions every 4 weeks, but that's more chemical processing than lash hair handles well. Aim for at least 6 weeks between full lifts.

Studio is at 10 Chandos Road, Redland — five minutes from Whiteladies Road, easy from Clifton, Cotham, Bishopston and Westbury Park, with bus links from Gloucester Road. Sessions are one-to-one and quiet; eyes are closed for 35 of the 60 minutes.
